Alba Re-enactment & Clan Heritage Trust Introduction - information about the era being portrayed Plaid Demonstration - We bring along a Plaid and show the audience how it was put on and also explain and show the many uses of this unique garment Weapon History - On the day we will have a wide selection of weaponry from Scotland's past with us - these weapons are specially made re-enactment weapons and made to the original designs. We just quickly let the audience see the weapons and give the audience a little information about each type of weapon. We will have Basket Hilted Broadswords, Claymores, Broadswords, Scottish Archers Swords, Battleaxes single and double headed, long and short shafted; Lochaber Axes, Flange Headed Mace and Spiked Headed Mace plus Targes etc Fighting Display - Our Members train faithfully every week, all year round in the use of a variety of weapons and this is where the audience will see most of the above mentioned weapons being used. Our Fighters do not wear any armour or body padding they just use steel against steel full contact!!!! Throughout the Display Fighters talk away to the audience and try to get them on their side!!!!!
